Support the Bleeding Disorders Community

September 23at11:00 am - 5:00 pm

What are bleeding disorders?

Bleeding disorders are a group of disorders that share the inability to form a proper blood clot. They are characterized by extended bleeding after injury, surgery, trauma or menstruation. Sometimes the bleeding is spontaneous, without a known or identifiable cause. Improper clotting can be caused by defects in blood components such as platelets and/or clotting proteins, also called clotting factors. Some bleeding disorders, such as hemophilia, can be inherited or acquired.

Come support the bleeding disorders community and the Hemophilia Association of the Capital Area (HACA) out in the vineyard. We are contributing 10% of our gross sales for the day to HACA, so come support all the wonderful work HACA does and have some wine while you’re at it!

Music, fun, friends and some special guest pourers are in order! SAVE THE DATE!
