Story
In 2011, after letting our vineyard grow and mature, we bottled our harvest and sent it off to the Virginia Governors Cup. We were interested in the tasting comments and feedback from the judges. They spoke. We won a gold for our Chardonnay and we were selected for the Governor’s Case. This was our beginning. We are a family owned and operated, Virginia Proud, Loudoun Proud, award winning winery and vineyard.

Mother/Daughter winemaking team, Theresa Robertson, winemaker and owner, and her Daughter, Krista Cato, winemaker , owner & General Manager let,m their own style shine through in the wine. Initially influenced by the french winemaking process, those methods supplement their own unique style. Known for their delicious Chardonnay, which has received Gold and Double Gold from Virginia to San Francisco, they continue to stay on track winning awards throughout the US. Two Twisted Posts Winery has a pair of the few (but growing) female winemakers in Virginia.

We believe in a minimalistic, eco-friendly approach to the care of our grapes and vineyard. For Brad Robertson, vineyard manager and owner, his family background of many generations of farming brings his love of the land and care of the vineyard to the forefront. The rich soil of the Shenandoah mountains is the background of our wine. Quality wine needs quality grapes and we let that speak for itself.
